This market tracks the Seattle Seahawks’ performance in the 2026 NFL regular season, specifically forecasting whether the team will win at least 4 games. Currently, the consensus probability across Kalshi and Polymarket is 98.0% that they will achieve this. This aggregated view incorporates data from both platforms and will resolve based on the team’s official win count in the 2026-27 regular season, as defined by the resolution source. Keep an eye on the final game of the regular season, scheduled for January 10, 2027, as the outcome will directly determine resolution.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team's regular season win total exceeds the listed number. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". Only official regular-season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Only played games resulting in a win will count toward this total. If the listed team plays fewer games than scheduled due to cancellation, weather, forfeit, or any other reason, only actual wins recorded count toward the total; canceled or unplayed games do not count as wins. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after February 15, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many wins the listed team recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official NFL records (https://www.nfl.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
The market resolves based on the Seattle Pro Football team's total regular season wins during the 2026-27 season. Resolution occurs when the team completes its regular season schedule. Each outcome corresponds to a minimum win threshold, ranging from 1 to 17 wins. The market resolves to Yes for each outcome if the team achieves at least that threshold of wins during the regular season.
Prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbook lines, as they aggregate the wisdom of the crowd and allow participants to hedge their bets. Sportsbooks set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the Seahawks’ potential performance. While both aim to predict the outcome, prediction markets tend to incorporate more information and are less susceptible to biases found in traditional betting. The difference in odds can also depend on the timing; prediction markets may react more quickly to new information and evolving sentiment surrounding the team.
Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi for the Seahawks 2026 win total market can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has a different user base, trading mechanisms, and liquidity levels, all of which can influence price discovery. Currently, Polymarket currently favors a Seahawks win total of over 8.5 games at 74.0%, while Kalshi leans toward the team winning at least 2 games at 98.0%. These differences can also arise from varying interpretations of available information and differing risk appetites among traders on each platform. Volume differences also play a role, as higher volume generally leads to tighter spreads.
This market resolves around Feb 16, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final win total for the Seattle Seahawks in the 2026 NFL season, as officially recorded by the league, will determine the outcome of this market. This includes any regular season games played, and does not include any postseason games. The resolution will be based on publicly available data and will be verified against credible sources to ensure accuracy and transparency for all participants.
Numerous signals and events could significantly impact this market. Major player acquisitions or injuries to key Seahawks players would undoubtedly shift expectations and influence trading activity. Coaching changes, performance in the upcoming NFL draft, and even preseason game results could all contribute to price movements. Broader NFL news, such as rule changes or shifts in league-wide competitive balance, could also play a role. Any information that alters perceptions of the Seahawks’ potential for success in the 2026 season is likely to move the market.
