This market tracks the Jacksonville Jaguars’ win total for the 2026 NFL regular season, specifically forecasting whether the team will win at least 7 games. Currently, the aggregated probability across Kalshi and Polymarket indicates a 99.0% chance of this outcome. This prediction market will resolve based on the Jacksonville Pro Football team’s performance in the 2026-27 regular season, as defined by winning at least 5 games. Keep an eye on the final regular season game schedule, concluding on February 16, 2027, to see if the Jaguars reach this win threshold.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team's regular season win total exceeds the listed number. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". Only official regular-season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Only played games resulting in a win will count toward this total. If the listed team plays fewer games than scheduled due to cancellation, weather, forfeit, or any other reason, only actual wins recorded count toward the total; canceled or unplayed games do not count as wins. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after February 15, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many wins the listed team recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official NFL records (https://www.nfl.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
The Jacksonville Pro Football team's 2026-27 regular season win totals are divided into seventeen separate markets, each representing a cumulative win threshold from 1 through 17 games. Each market resolves to Yes if the team achieves at least the specified number of wins during the regular season. For example, the 5+ wins market resolves to Yes if the team wins five or more games, while the 12+ wins market resolves to Yes only if the team wins twelve or more games. These markets operate on a cascading basis where achieving a higher threshold automatically satisfies all lower thresholds. Resolution is based on the official final regular season win total recorded by the league at the conclusion of the 2026-27 regular season.
Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect a more diverse range of information than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while prediction markets incorporate the insights of many individual traders. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, especially when there is significant uncertainty or incomplete information. However, sportsbooks may offer more competitive pricing due to their ability to hedge bets and manage risk differently. The current volume of $419,632 suggests strong interest in this market.
Differences in prices between Polymarket and Kalshi for the Jaguars 2026 win total market can arise from several factors. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has a different user base with varying levels of expertise and access to information, which can influence trading behavior. Trading fees and platform-specific rules also contribute to price discrepancies. Furthermore, the liquidity – or volume – on each platform can affect price discovery. While both platforms aim to predict the same outcome, these differences in market dynamics can lead to temporary variations in the odds offered.
This market resolves around Feb 16, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final win total for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2026 NFL season, as officially recorded by the NFL, will determine whether the market settles on the 'over' or 'under' side of the specified win total. The resolution will be based on the team’s regular season performance, including any games impacted by unforeseen circumstances, as determined by the NFL’s official records.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before it resolves. Major player acquisitions or injuries to key players on the Jaguars, or within their division, would likely cause price fluctuations. Coaching changes or significant shifts in team strategy could also move the market. Unexpected performance in the 2025 NFL season, particularly by the Jaguars or their divisional opponents, will heavily influence predictions. Any news related to the overall health of the NFL or changes to league rules could also affect the volume of $419,632 and the odds in this market.
