This market tracks whether the Philadelphia Eagles will win at least 4 games during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Currently, the consensus probability of this outcome occurring is 99.0%. This forecast is an aggregation of views from Polymarket and Kalshi, and will resolve based on the Eagles’ official regular season record as defined by the NFL. Keep an eye on the Eagles’ performance as the regular season progresses, with resolution expected following the conclusion of the regular season on February 16, 2027.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team's regular season win total exceeds the listed number. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". Only official regular-season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Only played games resulting in a win will count toward this total. If the listed team plays fewer games than scheduled due to cancellation, weather, forfeit, or any other reason, only actual wins recorded count toward the total; canceled or unplayed games do not count as wins. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after February 15, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many wins the listed team recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official NFL records (https://www.nfl.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution is determined by the total number of regular season wins accumulated by the Philadelphia Pro Football team during the 2026-27 season. Each market corresponds to a specific win threshold: the team must achieve at least that threshold to resolve to Yes. For example, the 5+ wins market resolves Yes if Philadelphia wins five or more games; the 12+ wins market resolves Yes if Philadelphia wins twelve or more games. The resolution is based on the official final regular season win total recorded by the league at the conclusion of the 2026-27 regular season. All thresholds range from a minimum of one win through a maximum of seventeen wins.
Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by individuals betting with their own capital. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges. Typically, prediction markets are considered more accurate forecasters of event outcomes, though sportsbooks benefit from established brand recognition and wider accessibility. The current implied probability in this market differs from traditional sportsbooks, potentially indicating a different assessment of the Eagles' prospects.
Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can diverge due to several factors. Each platform has a different user base, trading incentives, and liquidity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Furthermore, the specific market structures—how contracts are designed and traded—can influence price discovery. For example, differing fee structures or contract sizes might attract different types of traders. The volume on each platform also plays a role; higher volume generally leads to tighter spreads and more efficient pricing. These factors combine to create potentially different probabilities for the same underlying event, as seen in this market.
This market resolves around Feb 16, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final win total for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2026 NFL season, as officially recorded by the NFL, will determine whether the market settles on the 'over' or 'under' side of the specified win line. The resolution will be based on standard NFL regular season game results, and any potential tie games will be handled according to NFL rules, ultimately determining the outcome of this market.
Numerous factors could influence the price of this market. Significant player injuries to key Eagles players, coaching changes, or major acquisitions through trades or free agency would all likely cause movement. Preseason performance and early-season results will also be closely watched. Broader NFL trends, such as rule changes or shifts in league-wide offensive or defensive strategies, could also play a role. Unexpected news regarding the team's ownership or financial situation could also impact trader sentiment and, therefore, the price of this market.
