This market tracks the Dallas Cowboys’ win total for the 2026 NFL regular season, asking whether the team will win at least 5 games. Currently, the consensus probability of the Cowboys winning at least 5 games is 99.0%. This aggregate reflects data from Kalshi and Polymarket, and will resolve based on official NFL regular season records. Keep an eye on the outcome of the final regular season games scheduled for January 3rd, 2027, as these will determine the Cowboys’ final win count and the market’s resolution.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team's regular season win total exceeds the listed number. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". Only official regular-season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Only played games resulting in a win will count toward this total. If the listed team plays fewer games than scheduled due to cancellation, weather, forfeit, or any other reason, only actual wins recorded count toward the total; canceled or unplayed games do not count as wins. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after February 15, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many wins the listed team recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official NFL records (https://www.nfl.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution is determined by the total number of regular season wins accumulated by the Dallas Pro Football team during the 2026-27 season. Each threshold from 1 through 17 wins represents a separate resolution point. A Yes resolution occurs if the team achieves at least the specified number of wins for that particular threshold. For example, the 5-win threshold resolves Yes if Dallas wins 5 or more games; the 12-win threshold resolves Yes if Dallas wins 12 or more games. The final win total determines which thresholds resolve affirmatively and which resolve negatively. All resolutions are based on official regular season records and do not include playoff games.
Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, while sportsbook odds are typically set by a smaller team of professionals. Sportsbooks aim to balance action on both sides of a bet and incorporate a profit margin, whereas prediction markets are more focused on accurately forecasting the outcome. As a result, prediction markets can sometimes offer more nuanced probabilities and may diverge from sportsbook lines, especially as new information becomes available. It's common to see the implied probabilities in this market adjust more dynamically than traditional sportsbook odds.
Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can differ due to variations in trader participation, market design, and liquidity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying levels of expertise and risk tolerance, leading to differing opinions on the Cowboys’ potential win total. Furthermore, the specific rules and fee structures on each platform can influence trading behavior and price discovery. Differences in volume—Polymarket has seen volume of $467,455—can also contribute to price discrepancies, as lower volume markets are more susceptible to price swings.
This market resolves around Feb 16, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final win total for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2026 NFL season, as officially recorded by the NFL, will determine whether the market settles on the over or under. This outcome will be based on regular season wins only, excluding any playoff games. Traders can monitor the progress of the Cowboys throughout the 2026 season to assess how the market is likely to resolve.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major player acquisitions or injuries to key Cowboys players, coaching changes, or shifts in the overall NFL landscape could all influence trader sentiment. Strong or weak performances by the Cowboys in the 2025 season, as well as the performance of their division rivals, will also be closely watched. Any news regarding rule changes or potential disruptions to the 2026 NFL season could also cause significant movement in the market. Continued trading volume of $739 indicates ongoing interest and potential for price fluctuations.
