This group forecasts Bijan Robinson's total receiving yards during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Multiple markets exist, each testing whether he exceeds a specific yardage threshold. The Kalshi markets focus on single-game receiving yardage, while Polymarket focuses on the full season.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the number of receiving yards Bijan Robinson records during the 2026-27 NFL regular season equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Bijan Robinson does not play in the 2026-27 NFL regular season for any reason, this market will resolve to "No". If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many receiving yards Bijan Robinson recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
All markets resolve based on whether Tetairoa McMillan records the specified receiving yard threshold in the Carolina vs Atlanta Pro Football game originally scheduled for September 20, 2026. If McMillan is active for the team but never takes a snap, all markets settle to the fair market price before the game starts. Once McMillan takes at least one snap—regardless of whether the play is nullified by penalty—the markets settle based strictly on the total receiving yards he records during the game. These rules apply uniformly across all yardage thresholds, ensuring consistent evaluation for each market.
Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how they are formed. Sportsbooks set lines based on internal models and aim to balance action on both sides, while prediction markets rely on the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This can lead to prediction markets incorporating a wider range of information and potentially offering more accurate probabilities, especially as new information emerges. The difference between the two can also reflect varying levels of public awareness and differing risk appetites.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi may differ due to variations in trader demographics, market liquidity, and individual interpretations of available information regarding Bijan Robinson’s potential. The differing user bases on each platform may weigh factors like coaching changes, offensive scheme adjustments, or injury risks differently, leading to diverging probabilities. Furthermore, the volume of trading on each platform – currently $209,347 across both – can influence price discovery and create temporary discrepancies. These differences are a natural part of decentralized prediction markets and reflect the dynamic nature of forecasting.
This market resolves around Jan 27, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the official NFL statistics for Bijan Robinson’s 2026-27 regular season receiving yards are verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result will be based on the officially recorded receiving yardage, as determined by the NFL. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or account for any losses based on their positions in this market. The resolution process ensures a transparent and objective determination of the outcome.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Jan 27, 2027. Any news regarding Bijan Robinson’s health, such as injuries or changes in his physical condition, would likely cause price fluctuations. Coaching changes or shifts in the team's offensive strategy could also influence expectations. Furthermore, performance in the preceding 2025 NFL season, or even during pre-season games, could provide valuable insights and shift trader sentiment. Significant changes in the opposing defenses he faces throughout the 2026-27 season could also play a role in adjusting predictions.
