This market tracks the San Francisco pro football team’s win total for the 2026 NFL regular season. Currently, the consensus probability—aggregated from Kalshi and Polymarket—is 99.0% that the team will win at least 7 games. Resolution will be based on official NFL records of regular season wins, as defined by whether the San Francisco Pro Football team wins at least 9 games in the 2026-27 regular season. Keep an eye on the team’s performance as the regular season concludes, with resolution expected around February 16, 2027, at the end of the betting period.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team's regular season win total exceeds the listed number. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". Only official regular-season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. Only played games resulting in a win will count toward this total. If the listed team plays fewer games than scheduled due to cancellation, weather, forfeit, or any other reason, only actual wins recorded count toward the total; canceled or unplayed games do not count as wins. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after February 15, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined how many wins the listed team recorded within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official NFL records (https://www.nfl.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
The market resolves based on the San Francisco Pro Football team's total regular season wins during the 2026-27 season. Resolution occurs when the team completes its regular season schedule. Each outcome corresponds to a minimum win threshold, ranging from 1 to 17 wins. The market resolves to Yes for each outcome if the team achieves at least that threshold of wins during the regular season.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade on their belief about the 49ers’ win total. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than traditional odds, particularly when there’s significant public interest and trading volume. The current volume of $689,839 suggests active participation in this market.
Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can diverge due to several factors. Each platform has a different user base, trading dynamics, and fee structure, all of which can influence price discovery. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Furthermore, the liquidity available on each platform can vary, impacting how quickly prices adjust to new information. For example, Polymarket might see more activity from sophisticated traders, while Kalshi may attract a broader range of participants. These differing market forces contribute to the observed price differences in the 49ers 2026 win total market.
This market resolves around Feb 16, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final win total for the San Francisco 49ers in the 2026 NFL season will be used to determine the result of this market. The resolution will be based on official NFL statistics and records, ensuring a transparent and objective outcome. Trading will cease prior to this date, allowing for final price adjustments based on available information.
Numerous factors could influence the price of this market. Significant player injuries to key 49ers players, coaching changes, or major acquisitions through trades or free agency would all likely cause movement. Performance in the 2025 NFL season, including the development of young players and the team's overall trajectory, will also be closely watched. Unexpected rule changes or shifts in the competitive landscape of the NFC West could also impact predictions. With a current volume of $4,165, the market is sensitive to new information and evolving expectations.
