Sportsbook odds are typically set by a small team of experts, while this market aggregates insights from many individuals. It’s common to see discrepancies, particularly before significant events or when new information emerges. While sportsbooks may initially lean on statistical models, this market can quickly incorporate subjective factors and real-time news, potentially leading to more accurate predictions as the event approaches.
