This prediction group asks which NFL player will have the most passing yards in Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. Markets exist on Polymarket for a large number of individual players, and on Kalshi for a subset of those players.
This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most passing yards. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 2 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more completed passes in Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher yards per passing attempt in Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past October 7, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in passing yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Each market corresponds to a specific quarterback competing to achieve the highest passing yardage across all Pro Football games during Week 2 of the 2026 season. If the named quarterback records the most passing yards that week, the respective market resolves to Yes. If the quarterback does not participate in any game during Week 2, the market automatically resolves to No. In cases where multiple players tie for the highest passing yards, the payout is divided equally among all tied markets at a rate of 1/N, where N represents the number of players sharing the lead. Winners receive $1 minus the Yes payout amount. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has a different user base, trading dynamics, and fee structure, all of which can influence price discovery. Additionally, the liquidity on each platform can vary, leading to price discrepancies. For instance, if one platform has significantly more volume, its prices may be more efficient and reflect a stronger consensus. Differences in how traders interpret available information, such as player injuries or team matchups, can also contribute to these price variations.
