On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares of each potential outcome – in this case, different players being the Week 2 passing touchdowns leader. The price of a share directly represents the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time assessment of the likelihood of each player leading the race.
This market resolves around Sep 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could significantly impact this market. Preseason performance and injuries to key quarterbacks will be major drivers of price movement. Any news regarding changes in offensive schemes or receiving corps could also shift probabilities. Unexpected trades or depth chart changes could also cause substantial fluctuations. Furthermore, late-breaking injury reports leading up to Week 2, and even in-game developments during the games themselves, will likely influence trading activity and the perceived chances of each player leading the 2026-27 NFL passing touchdowns race.
