This prediction market asks which NFL player will have the most receiving yards in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL season. The markets provide a list of potential players, and the outcome depends on official NFL statistics.
This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most receiving yards. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more receiving touchdowns in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher yards per reception average in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in receiving yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Each market corresponds to a specific player competing to achieve the highest receiving yardage across all Pro Football games in Week 1. If the designated player records the most receiving yards, that market resolves to Yes. If the player does not participate in any Week 1 games, the market resolves to No. In the event of a tie for the highest receiving yards among multiple players, the payout is divided equally among all tied markets at a rate of 1/N, where N is the number of players tied. No holders of tied markets will receive the full $1 payout, only the adjusted proportional amount. These rules apply uniformly across all individual player markets for this event.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Player injuries are always a major catalyst, especially to key wide receivers. Preseason performance and coaching decisions regarding target distribution will also influence trader sentiment. Any news regarding player trades or changes in offensive schemes could lead to shifts in the odds. Unexpected retirements or suspensions would also be major events. Finally, as Week 1 approaches, any updates on player health or projected playing time will likely cause movement in this market, as traders adjust their predictions based on the latest information.
