During the 2026 Pro Basketball Finals between New York and San Antonio, multiple players from both teams attempt to each make at least 2 three-pointers in every game of the series.
Each player's market resolves to Yes if that player records at least 2 made three-pointers in every game of the NYK vs SAS Finals series in 2026. Statistics are considered final at the conclusion of the series, with corrections made after the series ends not affecting resolution. Three-pointers made during both regulation and overtime periods count toward the total. If a player does not enter a game during the series, their market resolves to No. The tracked players are Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, De'Aaron Fox, Julian Champagnie, Devin Vassell, Josh Hart, Landry Shamet, and Miles McBride.
Prediction market odds on Kalshi reflect real-money trader conviction and differ from traditional analyst forecasts and season-long shooting statistics. While sports analysts may rely on historical three-point percentages and playoff performance trends, prediction markets incorporate live betting signals, injury reports, and lineup changes. Analysts typically publish point estimates or confidence intervals; markets express probability as odds that update continuously. Comparing Kalshi implied probabilities to expert predictions reveals whether traders are pricing in factors analysts may have overlooked, such as matchup dynamics or recent form shifts during the Finals.
On Kalshi, each player outcome is priced as a binary contract reflecting the probability they record 2+ three-pointers in every Finals game. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The contract price moves between 0 and 100 cents, where each cent represents 1 percent implied probability. Traders buy at the ask price if they believe the outcome is more likely than the market price suggests, or sell at the bid if they think it is overpriced. Kalshi's order book aggregates buy and sell interest, and the mid-market price updates as new orders arrive, creating a continuous price discovery mechanism specific to this Finals matchup and player performance expectations.
The market resolves on Jun 20, 2026, after the Pro Basketball Finals series concludes. Resolution depends on whether each selected player records at least 2 made three-pointers in every single game they play during the Finals. The outcome is determined by official NBA game statistics and box scores. Markets remain open for trading until the Finals end, allowing traders to adjust positions as series results accumulate. Once the final game is played and official statistics are confirmed, each contract settles to either 100 cents (outcome occurred) or 0 cents (outcome did not occur).
Key catalysts include player injuries, lineup changes, and defensive adjustments by opposing teams. If a player sits out a game or plays limited minutes, their odds of hitting 2+ three-pointers decline sharply. Hot or cold shooting streaks during the Finals will shift market prices as traders update expectations based on live performance. Opponent defensive schemes targeting a player's three-point shooting, or unexpected trades or roster moves before the Finals, can also move odds. Game-by-game results accumulate pressure: if a player misses the 2+ threshold in one game, their contract value drops to zero, creating binary price swings as each Finals game concludes.
