The event resolves based on the first-half result of the Preston vs Huddersfield professional EFL Cup soccer game scheduled for August 8, 2026. If Preston scores more goals than Huddersfield by the end of the first half (including stoppage time), the 'Preston wins 1st Half' outcome resolves to Yes. If Huddersfield scores more goals, the 'Huddersfield wins 1st Half' outcome resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of goals—or no goals are scored—the 'Tie 1st Half' outcome resolves to Yes. If the match is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, the market will resolve at a fair price as determined by the platform. The resolution solely depends on the first-half performance, independent of the full-time match result.
