Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which may be influenced by factors like house bias or initial public perception. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and risk management, while this market allows a broader range of participants to weigh in. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when there's considerable uncertainty surrounding the outcome. Comparing these odds can offer valuable insights into differing perspectives on the likely winner.
