Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, it might indicate that the crowd believes a sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. However, it’s important to remember that both types of odds represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be perfectly accurate. Comparing the two can offer valuable insights, but ultimately, each represents a different perspective on the event.
