In the upcoming FIFA World Cup game between Portugal and Spain, scheduled for July 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Portugal vs. Spain match originally scheduled for July 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant pools and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. For this market, prediction market participants may price exact scores differently than traditional oddsmakers, especially for less obvious results. Comparing the two can reveal where one venue sees value the other has missed, though prediction markets tend to be efficient at incorporating public information quickly. Tracking both sources provides a fuller view of consensus expectations.
On Predict, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and asks for each exact scoreline. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of any outcome reflects the marginal trade—the last transaction—rather than a fixed spread set by the platform. As new information emerges or match conditions change, traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. This mechanism rewards accurate forecasting and punishes poor predictions in real time, creating strong incentives for participants to price outcomes as accurately as possible.
This market resolves around Jul 6, 2026, once the Portugal vs. Spain match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation time, with the winning position corresponding to whichever exact score actually occurs. Traders holding the correct outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution process is straightforward and objective, leaving no ambiguity about which traders predicted correctly.
Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or tactical shifts—can significantly reprrice exact score probabilities. Recent form, head-to-head history, and home-field advantage all influence trader expectations. Weather conditions on match day may favor certain playing styles or goal-scoring patterns. Pre-match analysis from respected analysts or unexpected betting patterns can also shift sentiment. As the fixture draws closer, late-breaking developments such as player suspensions or last-minute roster decisions often trigger sharp moves in this market. Monitoring these catalysts helps traders stay ahead of price adjustments.
