This market tracks the combined number of corners Portugal and Croatia will be awarded during their FIFA World Cup match on July 2, 2026. The aggregated consensus across Limitless, Kalshi, and Polymarket shows 100.0% probability for the over/under 8.5 corners threshold, based on resolution criteria from the official match record. Watch for the final whistle on July 2, 2026, as the resolution window closes immediately following the conclusion of the match, including any extra time periods.
Total corners markets for the FIFA World Cup game between Portugal and Croatia, scheduled for July 2 at 7:00 PM ET.
Resolution is based on the cumulative number of corner kicks awarded to both Portugal and Croatia combined during the complete match, including regulation time, stoppage time, and any extra time periods if played. Multiple outcome thresholds are tracked: combined corners of at least 7, at least 8, at least 9, at least 10, or at least 11 during the game. If the match is cancelled or rescheduled to more than two weeks away, the market resolves to a fair price in accordance with standard rules.
This market will resolve to "YES" if the combined total number of corners taken by Portugal and Croatia is 11 or higher during regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time only) in the World Cup match scheduled for July 2, 2026, 23:00 UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the match is canceled after it starts, this market will resolve based on official data recorded up to that point. If the match is canceled entirely before it starts or postponed/rescheduled to a restart date later than September 2, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO."
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which naturally creates price variation. Polymarket and Kalshi may also use slightly different outcome definitions or rounding conventions for corner totals. Liquidity depth varies between venues, so large trades can move prices differently depending on order-book depth. Additionally, traders on one platform may have access to different information sources or hold different risk tolerances, leading to genuine disagreement on corner probability. These differences typically narrow as the match approaches and more traders arbitrage the spread, but they can persist if one platform has significantly lower volume or a more specialized user base.
Team news and injury announcements can shift corner expectations, since aggressive or defensive lineup changes alter play style. Weather conditions on match day—wind, rain, or extreme heat—often increase corner frequency by making open play less stable. Recent form and head-to-head history between Portugal and Croatia may prompt traders to adjust odds as kickoff nears. Late-breaking tactical leaks or manager quotes about pressing intensity can signal corner-heavy or conservative approaches. Live match momentum during the first half also drives repricing; if either team dominates early, traders will adjust their corner forecasts based on observed play patterns. Monitor team news, weather updates, and pre-match commentary to stay ahead of market moves.
