Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All platforms resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 18, 2026, with identical handling of postponements and cancellations across Polymarket and Kalshi.
Primary resolution logic:
Official EFL Championship statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
The match outcome is determined by the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only, excluding extra time and penalties.
Portsmouth Win market resolves YES if Portsmouth scores more goals than Leicester; otherwise NO.
Leicester Win market resolves YES if Leicester scores more goals than Portsmouth; otherwise NO.
Draw market resolves YES if both teams score equal goals; resolves YES also if the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
Exactly one of the three outcome markets (Portsmouth Win, Leicester Win, Draw) will resolve YES for any completed match.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the Draw market resolves YES while Portsmouth Win and Leicester Win markets resolve NO.
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all three markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed.
Resolution Source Delay: If official EFL statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution may be based on consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by the EFL or governing body, or upon consensus credible reporting if official sources are delayed beyond 2 hours post-match.
