Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their view. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as prediction markets can incorporate information and perspectives that sportsbooks might miss. Observing these differences can be valuable for identifying potential value in either market.
