This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they capture crowd-sourced expectations rather than set odds from bookmakers. In this market, trader sentiment may lean more toward underdogs or favorites depending on recent performance and news. Sportsbook odds typically include a vigorish, while prediction markets let participants bet directly on probabilities, sometimes producing sharper or more volatile pricing.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders continuously submit bids and asks that determine the current probability displayed for each outcome. The top outcome’s displayed chance reflects the aggregated wisdom of all participants, with liquidity depth shown through available bid and ask sizes. As new information emerges — such as player injuries or weather updates — the market price adjusts based on collective re-evaluation of the teams’ prospects.
This market resolves around Jul 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is determined by the official match result, which is compared against the market’s defined payouts. Traders can monitor reputable sports news sources for confirmed updates as the event date approaches.
Key signals that could shift this market include injury announcements, changes to team line-ups, weather forecasts affecting play conditions, and recent performance trends in practice matches. High-profile player transfers or coaching decisions may also influence trader sentiment. Any development that alters perceptions of one team’s likelihood to win or perform better will likely cause price adjustments in the lead-up to Jul 31, 2026.
