In the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup game between Poland and Mexico, scheduled for September 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Poland vs. Mexico match originally scheduled for September 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs, potentially leading to odds that more accurately reflect the true probability of each exact score. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of how each type of market operates, but generally, they provide a similar view of the likely outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust, converging towards what the market deems to be the fair value. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s efficiency is driven by the incentive for traders to identify and exploit mispricings, ultimately leading to a relatively accurate assessment of the likely final result of the Poland vs. Mexico match.
This market resolves around Sep 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Poland vs. Mexico match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the score reported by official sources, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the confirmed outcome of this market.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either team could significantly shift the probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue might also play a role, potentially impacting the style of play and the final score. Furthermore, public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators could influence trader behavior, causing fluctuations in the prices of different exact score outcomes within this market.
