Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the collective intelligence of many individual bettors. This can lead to differences in probabilities, particularly when there's strong public sentiment or information not yet fully priced into traditional odds. It’s common to see discrepancies, as prediction markets can sometimes identify mispricings or incorporate unique insights faster than sportsbooks.
