On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds often show sharper adjustments based on real-time trading activity, while sportsbooks incorporate broader factors like public betting trends and risk management. The difference can be notable, especially as Polymarket traders react to new information faster. For example, a sudden shift in player form or injury news may move this market more aggressively than sportsbook lines, which might lag due to their operational processes and overhead.
