Prediction market odds in this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines due to different participant motivations and information sources. While sportsbooks may set lines based on broader public betting trends and proprietary models, prediction markets reflect the aggregated beliefs of informed traders. This can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing, especially as new data emerges about player form or match conditions.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set prices through buying and selling shares, which determines the implied probability for each outcome. The current top outcome reflects the highest traded price, and volume of $25 indicates overall interest. Liquidity can shift quickly based on news or visible changes in team performance, affecting the market’s price structure throughout the event period.
