PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: These markets resolve against completely different game metrics: final winner vs first-inning scoring occurrenceHero tip: Treat these as separate bets. A Pittsburgh win could occur with zero first-inning runs, while a San Diego win might feature early scoring. Never assume correlation between these markets.

Critical divergence points:

  • Opinion: Resolves to Pittsburgh Pirates if they win final score, San Diego Padres if they win, 50-50 for ties/cancellations
  • Kalshi: Resolves Yes if either team scores in first inning, No otherwise
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. Frequently asked questions

On Kalshi and Opinion, the first-inning run market dashboard shows aggregated predictions from traders across platforms. It tracks the probability of which team will score first in the opening inning, reflecting consensus views through real-time odds and volume of $481,898. This view lets participants see how market sentiment shifts before the first pitch, with data pulled from all active venues. The dashboard updates continuously, giving a clear snapshot of where traders stand on this market as the game approaches.

On Kalshi and Opinion, prices can vary because of different user bases, trading volumes, and design features. Kalshi and Opinion can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more casual bettors, while another draws serious traders focused on statistical edges. This leads to variations in implied probabilities, especially when recent news — like a pitcher change — impacts perceptions. Additionally, differing fee structures and order types influence how quickly prices adjust, causing temporary gaps between the two venues.
