Description

This market tracks which team will score more runs in the first inning of an upcoming baseball game. It reflects the early-game offensive performance of each team within the first inning only. The outcome depends solely on runs scored during that specific inning, with special provisions if the game is called early.

Kalshi

The market determines the winner of the first inning in the Pittsburgh vs San Diego baseball game scheduled for August 25, 2026. If Pittsburgh scores more runs than San Diego in the top of the first inning, the "Pittsburgh wins 1st inning" market resolves to Yes. If San Diego scores more runs than Pittsburgh in the bottom of the first inning, the "San Diego wins 1st inning" market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of runs in the first inning, the "Tie 1st inning" market resolves to Yes. Only runs scored during the first inning count, and if the game is called before the first inning is completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price.
