This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs in the final inning of an upcoming baseball game between Pittsburgh and Chicago. It captures the excitement and strategic shifts that often occur in the last inning, where bullpens are tested and late-game decisions can dramatically change the outcome.
The market resolves based solely on the number of runs scored by each team during the 9th inning of the designated Pittsburgh vs Chicago C game. If Pittsburgh scores more runs in the 9th inning, its corresponding market resolves to Yes. If Chicago C scores more runs, its market resolves to Yes. If both teams score an equal number of runs, the tie market resolves to Yes. Should the game be called early before the 9th inning is fully completed, all relevant markets resolve to a Fair Price. The resolution depends exclusively on 9th-inning performance, regardless of whether the home team gets to bat in the bottom half of the inning, unless the inning remains incomplete due to an early game cancellation.
