If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities as new information emerges. If sportsbooks heavily favor one exact score, we might see a lower probability for that outcome here, and vice versa, depending on the collective view of traders. It's common to find discrepancies, especially before the event begins, as the market dynamically adjusts to new data.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. Conversely, selling pressure decreases the price and the probability. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the Phoenix Rising FC vs. FC Tulsa match – the exact score – will be used to determine the winning shares. The resolution will be based on the official match results as reported by a trusted sports data provider. Traders who hold shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the market's payout structure at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching staff for either Phoenix Rising FC or FC Tulsa could significantly shift probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also impact the game and, consequently, the market. Furthermore, late-breaking news about team morale or strategic adjustments could prompt traders to reassess their predictions, leading to fluctuations in share prices. Major events impacting player availability are likely to be the biggest catalysts.
