PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Fundamental market structure mismatch - Polymarket uses outcome-based resolution while Kalshi uses binary yes resolution regardless of winnerHero tip: Do not trade across these markets expecting convergence. Kalshi will always resolve to Yes regardless of game outcome, making it fundamentally incompatible with Polymarket's outcome-based resolution

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Resolves to team name if that team wins, 50-50 for ties/cancellations. Key quote: "If Philadelphia Waterdogs wins, the market will resolve to 'Philadelphia Waterdogs'"
  • Kalshi: Always resolves to Yes regardless of winner. Key quote: "If Denver Outlaws wins... then the market resolves to Yes" AND "If Philadelphia Waterdogs wins... then the market resolves to Yes"
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
