For a market to resolve as Yes, the named pitcher must be a starting pitcher and must record at least one pitch in the game. If the named pitcher is scratched or does not start, the market resolves to the fair market price. Relief appearances do not count toward the outs recorded. The settlement hinges solely on the starting pitcher's performance in terms of outs achieved, provided they meet the minimum pitching requirement.
