In the upcoming MLS game between Philadelphia Union and Orlando City SC, scheduled for September 26, 2026 at 7:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Philadelphia Union vs. Orlando City SC match originally scheduled for September 26, 2026 at 7:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as the event approaches. Sportsbooks often incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates individual assessments. However, initial sportsbook lines might differ significantly from the opening prices on Predict. As more information becomes available and the event draws nearer, the odds on both sides usually converge, though discrepancies can still occur due to differing market dynamics and risk assessments.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the perceived probability of that outcome. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe a particular score is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities in real-time, providing a constantly updated assessment of the event's potential outcomes.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Philadelphia Union versus Orlando City SC match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact scoreline as officially recorded by the league will be used to determine the winning contract. Any potential delays in official score reporting could slightly postpone the resolution time, but the outcome will be determined based on the official result as soon as it is available. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified score.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either the Union or Orlando City SC would likely cause substantial shifts in probabilities. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if severe weather is anticipated, could also impact the market. Additionally, any significant tactical announcements from either team’s coach, or even unexpected lineup changes revealed shortly before kickoff, could lead to price movements as traders react to the new information and reassess the likelihood of different scorelines.
