If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the aggregated beliefs of informed participants rather than set broker margins. In this market, the probability weights assigned to each scoreline can be more nuanced, especially for less common outcomes. Traders may react faster to new information, such as player injuries or weather updates, causing shifts that sportsbooks might adjust more gradually.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set prices through buying and selling shares for each possible score outcome. The current top outcome reflects the highest traded probability, and the overall market prices adjust continuously based on order flow. This decentralized pricing mechanism allows rapid responses to new data, often producing tighter or more varied odds than centralized sportsbooks.
This market resolves around Aug 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score reported by official league sources will determine which exact score share pays out. Until that moment, any trader can still buy or sell positions, but after resolution, all trading stops and payouts are finalized based on the verified result.
Key events such as starting lineups, weather conditions, and in-game momentum shifts can all influence this market. Injuries to star players or tactical changes by coaches often prompt rapid reassessments of likely scorelines. Additionally, broader factors like recent team form or head-to-head history may cause traders to adjust their positions as the match approaches, especially if new information emerges in the final days.
