Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic based on the official final score from mlssoccer.com after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with consistent threshold definitions for spread markets and over/under totals.Primary resolution logic: Official final score published on mlssoccer.com

Core resolution logic:

  • Spread markets resolve based on the goal differential: Philadelphia Union (-1.5) resolves YES if Union wins by 2+ goals; D.C. United SC (-1.5) resolves YES if DC United wins by 2+ goals.
  • Higher spread markets follow the same logic with adjusted thresholds: (-2.5) requires a 3+ goal margin for either team.
  • Over/Under markets resolve based on combined goals: O/U 1.5 resolves OVER if 2+ combined goals; O/U 2.5 resolves OVER if 3+ combined goals; O/U 3.5 resolves OVER if 4+ combined goals; O/U 4.5 resolves OVER if 5+ combined goals.
  • Both Teams to Score resolves YES if both teams score at least one goal each during regulation play.

  • Delayed Official Statistics: If mlssoccer.com does not publish final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, resolution may use a consensus of credible reporting as a secondary source.
  • Incomplete Match: If the game is started but not completed, resolution uses the official final score published on mlssoccer.com for the portion of play that was completed.
