Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts distinct trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, all of which influence price discovery. Polymarket may see heavier volume from one type of predictor, while Predict draws a different crowd, leading to temporary pricing gaps on the same outcome. Platform-specific rules, withdrawal policies, and user interfaces also shape how quickly traders react to breaking news or game developments. These differences typically narrow as the event approaches, but arbitrage opportunities can persist if one platform's community undervalues or overvalues a particular scenario relative to the other.
