On Polymarket and Predict, prices can diverge due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might see heavier betting from fans who value recent performance more, while another could lean on broader statistical models. These variations often produce distinct implied probabilities, even for the same underlying matchup.
Injuries, weather delays, or pitcher changes can all shift this market close to game time. Key performance stats from recent matchups and bullpen updates often drive late-stage trading, especially if one side gains a perceived advantage. Any last-minute news will be reflected rapidly in updated probabilities before the final whistle.
