This group of markets predicts which golfer will lead after the first round of the 2026 TOUR Championship. Each market corresponds to a specific player, with resolution dependent on their performance relative to all other competitors in Round 1.

Both Polymarket and Kalshi markets resolve based on the official PGA Tour declaration of the Round 1 leader, using identical tie-breaking procedures and cancellation rules.Primary resolution logic: Official PGA Tour results

  • Resolve to Yes if the named player is declared the official Round 1 leader by the PGA Tour
  • Apply PGA Tour tie-breakers in sequence: back-9 score, eagles, birdies, bogeys, alphabetical order
  • Resolve to No/Other if the tournament is canceled or postponed after September 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if no official leader is declared by that time

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Tournament Cancellation: If the 2026 TOUR Championship is canceled, postponed after September 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official Round 1 leader has not been declared within that timeframe, all markets resolve to No/Other

This market will resolve according to the player that finishes Round 1 of the main tournament at the 2026 TOUR Championship with the lowest cumulative score to par. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the player with the lower score on the back 9 of the first round. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player that records more eagles thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player who records more birdies thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player who records fewer bogeys thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 TOUR Championship is cancelled, postponed after September 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official Round 1 leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the event organizer or governing body.

Kalshi

Each market corresponds to a specific golfer competing in the 2026 TOUR Championship. If the named golfer is sole leader after Round 1, that market resolves to "Yes." If multiple golfers share the lead, "Yes" payouts are divided equally among all leading participants (paying $1/N where N is the number of tied leaders), and "No" positions pay the remainder. All markets operate independently, with no cross-market interactions. The tournament operator explicitly states no official affiliation with the PGA, and all related trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
