This event group covers individual player Top 10 finish markets for the 2026 Corales Puntacana Championship PGA Tour event. Polymarket offers 102 binary markets on final tournament results, while Kalshi offers 146 markets on 54-hole (first 3 rounds) leaderboard positions. The two platforms measure fundamentally different endpoints: final 72-hole results vs. 54-hole intermediate standings.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player finishes in the top 10 at the 2026 Corales Puntacana Championship tournament, including ties. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If final results are not announced by July 25, 2026 at 8:00PM ET this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the PGA Tour website (https://www.pgatour.com/).
Each market resolves based on whether a specific golfer finishes in the top 10 (including ties) after the first 3 rounds of the 2026 Corales Puntacana Championship. If the golfer forfeits, withdraws, or does not participate prior to teeing off in Round 1, the market resolves to Fair Market Price. If the golfer forfeits or withdraws after teeing off in any round, the market resolves to No. Otherwise, the market resolves to Yes if the golfer is in the top 10 after 54 holes, and No if the golfer is outside the top 10 or misses the cut.
Prediction markets and sportsbooks price golf outcomes differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, often building in a margin. Prediction markets like those tracked here rely on trader consensus—prices reflect what the crowd believes will happen, updated continuously as new information emerges. Prediction market odds tend to be more efficient at incorporating late-breaking news, injury reports, or course conditions because traders profit directly from accurate forecasts. For major PGA events, comparing this market's pricing to traditional sportsbook lines can reveal where public opinion diverges from professional oddsmakers.
