Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set fixed lines designed to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by continuous trader participation and real-time supply and demand. This market aggregates the collective forecast of many participants, which can sometimes offer sharper or more responsive pricing than traditional sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges closer to kickoff.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader bids and offers into real-time probabilities. As traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes, the price adjusts dynamically to reflect the current consensus. The more capital flowing into a particular outcome, the higher its price climbs, and vice versa. This continuous pricing model ensures transparent, liquid discovery of what the crowd believes will happen in the second half.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the second half of the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect the final score or result recorded for that half, confirmed through standard sports reporting channels. Until that point, traders can continue to adjust their positions as the match unfolds and new information becomes available.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before resolution. Team news—injuries, lineup changes, or tactical announcements—often triggers repricing. Early match momentum, goals scored, or red cards during the first half can significantly alter expectations for the second half outcome. Weather conditions, recent form, and head-to-head history may also influence trader sentiment. As kickoff approaches and the first half unfolds, real-time events will be the primary driver of price movement.
