The market resolves on Jun 15, 2026. Resolution is determined by comparing the weekly percentage gain of Pepsi stock to that of Coca-Cola stock over the specified period. The outcome is calculated using standard market data sources to ensure accuracy and eliminate ambiguity. Whichever company posts the higher percentage return over the week triggers the corresponding resolution. This straightforward metric removes subjective interpretation and ties the market directly to observable, verifiable stock performance data available to all traders at settlement time.
Key catalysts include quarterly earnings releases, revenue and profit margin beats or misses, management guidance revisions, and dividend announcements from either company. Macroeconomic data—inflation, consumer spending, currency fluctuations—can shift beverage demand and margins. Competitive announcements, product launches, or supply-chain disruptions may favor one company over the other. Analyst upgrades or downgrades, activist investor activity, or strategic partnerships can trigger sharp repricing. Broader market movements in consumer staples, equity indices, and sector rotation also influence relative weekly performance. Real-time tracking of these events on Limitless helps traders adjust positions before resolution.
