Kalshi

Resolution is determined by the official result of map 2 in the specified VCT EMEA 2026 match. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, or if the match or map is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs in that map, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.

Frequently asked questions

On Kalshi, the dashboard for the Pacific vs. FUT Map 2 esports match displays real-time odds and price movements as traders position themselves on the outcome. You can monitor the current market price, historical price trends, and 24-hour trading volume of $119,147 to gauge market sentiment and liquidity. The interface shows how confident traders are in each potential result, updated continuously as new bets flow in. This snapshot helps you understand both the prevailing prediction and the depth of trader conviction behind it.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who have direct financial exposure to accuracy. This market aggregates real-money forecasts from participants betting on the esports outcome, which can reveal signals that traditional oddsmakers may lag in pricing. Comparing the two can highlight where market consensus differs from conventional sports betting lines.

On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and offers that determine the real-time odds. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the marginal trade—the last matched transaction—and moves as new orders arrive. Traders profit by correctly predicting the match outcome, creating a direct incentive to price the event accurately. Wider bid-ask spreads indicate lower liquidity, while tighter spreads suggest active trading and higher confidence in the quoted price.

This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the Map 2 result is finalized and verifiable from credible public reporting of the esports event. The outcome is determined by the official match result as recorded by the tournament organizer or broadcast. Until that point, traders can buy and sell positions to lock in gains or cut losses. After resolution, the market settles based on which outcome occurred, and traders' positions are credited or debited accordingly.

Several factors can shift trader sentiment before resolution. Team roster changes, player injuries, or substitutions announced before the match can alter perceived win probability. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and map-specific statistics influence how traders reassess the matchup. Pre-match commentary from analysts and community discussion may introduce new information. Betting patterns themselves—large trades or sudden volume spikes—can signal informed positioning and trigger price adjustments as other traders react to the flow.
