The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of each outcome. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand; there are no external factors influencing the valuation. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each competitor winning the match, based on the collective intelligence of the traders.
