If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to the granular nature of forecasting an exact score. While sportsbooks may offer broader outcome categories like win/draw/loss or half-point spreads, this market lets traders speculate on the precise final score. Because of that specificity, implied probabilities can appear more volatile, especially as new team news or performance trends emerge. Traders should compare this market to sportsbook odds not just for value, but to spot where crowd sentiment diverges from institutional lines.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this market is priced through a decentralized process where traders submit bids and asks for each possible score outcome. The platform’s automated market maker adjusts prices based on order flow, liquidity, and the relative popularity of each scoreline. This creates a dynamic, community-driven odds curve that reflects real-time expectations. As betting activity grows, the most likely scores rise in probability, while less expected outcomes fall, shaping the market’s overall shape.
This market resolves around Aug 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact final score reported by authoritative sports news sources and official match records will settle all positions. Traders should ensure they’re watching reputable outlets for live updates, as any discrepancy in officially reported scores could impact payout timing, though the market typically aligns quickly with the widely accepted result.
Injuries to key players, coaching strategies, recent form, and even weather conditions could shift this market as the match approaches. Any announcement affecting team lineups or player availability often causes rapid re-pricing of specific score outcomes. Additionally, early goal momentum during the live match can dramatically alter probability perceptions, especially for traders watching in-play updates. Media narratives and pre-match polls may also influence sentiment, making this market responsive to both on-field developments and off-field news.
