Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect trader sentiment and can adjust faster to new information. While sportsbooks may publish a static spread or money line, prediction markets price in continuous probability shifts based on trading activity. For example, if a key player is substituted, Polymarket’s odds could move sharply within minutes, whereas sportsbooks might wait for the next update cycle. This creates opportunities for arbitrage or insight into crowd-sourced forecasts.
