Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi define resolution identically: the market outcome is determined by the final result of the PSG vs Lyon match on April 19, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with official Ligue 1 statistics as the primary source.
Primary resolution logic:
Official Ligue 1 statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves YES if PSG wins the match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if Lyon wins the match after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Market resolves YES if the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one outcome will occur; all three markets cannot simultaneously resolve YES.
Extra time and penalties are excluded from resolution scope.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the game is completed and a result is determined.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Polymarket PSG and Lyon win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES. Kalshi's combined market structure would resolve based on the actual outcome if rescheduled, or per platform policy if permanently canceled.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by Ligue 1 or event organizers, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
