A player from Panama will score their nation's first goal during the 2026 Men's FIFA World Cup, or the match will end without a goal scored by that team.
The market resolves Yes for whichever Panamanian player scores the first legitimate goal for the country during the 2026 Men's FIFA World Cup. Own goals are excluded from consideration; if Panama's first credited goal is an own goal, resolution is based on the next goal credited to Panama that is not an own goal. Goals scored during regulation time, stoppage time, and extra time all count toward this market. Goals scored during penalty shootouts do not count. Any player who does not score the first qualifying goal resolves to No, regardless of whether they participated in any match. If no Panamanian player scores a goal throughout the tournament, the No Goalscorer outcome resolves Yes.
Prediction market odds on Kalshi reflect real-money trader conviction and often diverge from traditional analyst predictions. While sports analysts may rely on historical statistics, recent form, and tactical analysis, prediction markets incorporate live information and trader expertise. Markets tend to be more dynamic, updating faster as new injury reports or lineup changes emerge. Comparing Kalshi odds to expert consensus can reveal where the crowd disagrees with conventional wisdom on which Panama player is most likely to score first.
On Kalshi, Panama: First Goalscorer is priced as a set of binary contracts, each representing one eligible player's chance to score first. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each contract trades between 0 and 100 cents, with the price directly reflecting the market's implied probability. Traders buy contracts they believe are underpriced and sell those they see as overpriced. The most heavily traded players typically show tighter bid-ask spreads and higher liquidity, making them easier to enter and exit quickly.
Key catalysts for Panama: First Goalscorer odds include team lineup announcements, injury reports on key strikers, and pre-match tactical disclosures. Recent player form, goal-scoring streaks, and head-to-head matchup history can shift trader sentiment. Weather conditions and venue factors may also influence which players traders expect to be involved in early scoring chances. Breaking news about suspensions or last-minute roster changes typically triggers sharp repricing across all player contracts.
