Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If a significant disparity emerges between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that prediction market participants possess unique insights or disagree with the sportsbook’s assessment of the teams’ relative strengths. It's important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are formed through different mechanisms.
