This market refers to the Overwatch Quarterfinal 1 match between ZETA DIVISION and O2 Blast in the OCS Korea Stage 2 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 10 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "ZETA DIVISION" if ZETA DIVISION win the match against O2 Blast. This market will resolve to "O2 Blast" if O2 Blast win the match against ZETA DIVISION. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different audiences and operate under different constraints. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets rely on trader consensus to price outcomes. This market's odds reflect what thousands of independent forecasters believe will happen, without the vig or margin built into traditional sports betting. Sportsbooks may adjust lines based on sharp action or liability concerns, whereas prediction markets adjust continuously as new evidence surfaces. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree on the likely winner.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on one potential result, and the price of each share reflects its implied probability—higher prices mean traders view that outcome as more likely. As new information arrives or sentiment changes, traders adjust their positions, moving prices in real time. The market's pricing mechanism ensures that all available information gets incorporated quickly, making the odds a dynamic and responsive gauge of community expectations for this playoff matchup.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the playoff match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the final match score and winner as documented by official Overwatch Champions Series Korea sources. Resolution occurs after the best-of-four series is complete and the victor is officially announced. Traders should monitor official league channels and reputable esports news outlets for confirmation of the final result, which will trigger the market settlement.
Several factors could shift odds before the match concludes. Roster changes, player injuries, or unexpected roster swaps announced by either team would likely trigger sharp price movement. Recent tournament performance, scrim results, or public statements from coaches and players can influence trader sentiment. Meta shifts in Overwatch or balance patch updates released before the match may favor one team's playstyle over the other. Live match momentum—early map wins, team fights, or strategic adjustments during the series—will drive continuous repricing as traders update their forecasts based on unfolding events.
