This market refers to the Overwatch Upper bracket quarterfinal 2 match between T1 and Twisted Minds in the OCS Midseason Championship Group A, initially scheduled for July 29 at 7:15AM ET. This market will resolve to "T1" if T1 win the match against Twisted Minds. This market will resolve to "Twisted Minds" if Twisted Minds win the match against T1. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who have real money at stake. For this market, comparing the current odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether bettors and traders disagree on the likely outcome. Prediction markets tend to be efficient at pricing uncertainty, though sharp discrepancies may indicate value or market inefficiency worth investigating.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that allows traders to buy and sell shares representing each possible outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the cumulative trading activity and the current probability estimate embedded in the order book. As traders place bets, the price adjusts in real time, with higher prices indicating greater confidence in that outcome. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to new information about the teams and the upcoming match.
This market resolves around Jul 29, 2026, once the best-of-three series concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the majority of games in the matchup. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information emerges—team roster updates, recent performance, or pre-match analysis. Resolution is automatic once the event result is confirmed through established esports news sources and official league records.
Several catalysts may shift odds before the match begins. Roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team could significantly impact trader confidence. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and performance trends in the OCS Midseason Championship will influence positioning. Injury reports, coaching decisions, or public statements from team leadership may also trigger repricing. Additionally, community sentiment and expert analysis shared on esports platforms can sway the market as traders adjust their exposure based on new tactical insights or meta shifts in the game.
