Description

This market refers to the Overwatch match between O2 Blast and ZETA DIVISION in the OCS Korea Stage 2 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 12 at 5:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "O2 Blast" if O2 Blast win the match against ZETA DIVISION. This market will resolve to "ZETA DIVISION" if ZETA DIVISION win the match against O2 Blast. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms use Liquipedia as the primary resolution source and apply identical logic for match completion, game-level resolution, cancellation, and forfeit scenarios.Primary resolution logic: Liquipedia (https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page); if results not published within 2 hours of event conclusion, credible reporting consensus and video evidence may be used.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins 2 games in the BO3 series.
  • Individual game markets (Game 1, Game 2) resolve based on the winner of that specific game only if completed; incomplete games resolve 50-50.
  • Total games market resolves Over if 3 or more games are played (including forfeits, disqualifications, walkovers if match is completed); resolves Under if fewer than 3 games are played.
  • If match is canceled, not played, or delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • If match begins but is incomplete and one team wins by opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover mid-series, the match winner market resolves to the winning team; game-level and total games markets resolve 50-50.
  • If match ends due to clinching game forfeiture, the match is treated as completed and resolves to the team that clinched.
  • Pre-match forfeits, disqualifications, or walkovers (team withdraws before start) result in 50-50 resolution for the match winner market.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Incomplete individual game with completed match: If the match is completed (one team reaches 2 wins) but a specific game (e.g., Game 2) was not played or not completed, that game's market resolves 50-50 while the match winner market resolves normally.
  • Mid-series forfeiture: If a team forfeits after the match has begun (e.g., after Game 1 is played), the match winner resolves to the non-forfeiting team, but game-level and total games markets resolve 50-50.
  • Clinching game forfeiture: If the match-clinching game is forfeited (e.g., team A leads 1-0, team B forfeits Game 2), the match is treated as completed and resolves to team A; total games counts as 2 games played.
  • Delay beyond 7 days without play: If the match is postponed and does not begin play within 7 days of the original June 12 scheduled date, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Team name discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, sponsor tags, abbreviations, or regional identifiers (e.g., 'O2 Blast' vs 'O2Blast') are treated as the same team; resolution is based on the underlying real-world match, not exact name matching.
Timing: Resolution occurs upon match completion (when one team reaches 2 wins in the BO3). If Liquipedia does not publish results within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting and video evidence consensus is used. Markets resolve immediately upon determination of the outcome. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
