This event group covers a best-of-three Overwatch match between LuneX Gaming and The Kafe in the OCS North America Stage 2 Group Stage, scheduled for June 13, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET. Markets span match winner (BO3), individual game winners (Game 1 and Game 2), and total games played (Over/Under 2.5).
This market refers to the Overwatch match between LuneX Gaming and The Kafe in the OCS North America Stage 2 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 13 at 7:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "LuneX Gaming" if LuneX Gaming win the match against The Kafe. This market will resolve to "The Kafe" if The Kafe win the match against LuneX Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Resolution is determined by the outcome of the scheduled Overwatch match between The Kafe and LuneX Gaming on June 13, 2026. The market resolves to Yes for whichever team wins the match. If the match does not occur as scheduled, or if circumstances prevent a definitive winner from being determined, additional resolution criteria would apply per standard esports market protocols.
Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi operate on continuous trading rather than fixed lines, allowing odds to shift in real time as new information emerges. Sportsbooks typically adjust lines less frequently and build in margin for profit. Prediction market odds often reflect sharper, crowd-sourced analysis because traders risk real capital on outcomes. However, sportsbooks may have deeper liquidity and faster access to professional betting syndicates. For this market, comparing the implied probability across platforms to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether one side is undervalued or if consensus has shifted since the book opened.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which can cause temporary price gaps. Kalshi's regulatory framework and user base may price risk differently than Polymarket's international audience. Order flow timing, market depth, and recent trades on one platform can lag the other by minutes to hours. Additionally, platform-specific rules around market resolution or early closure may influence how traders position ahead of the match. Arbitrage opportunities between the two often close quickly as sophisticated traders exploit spreads, but gaps can persist if liquidity is thin on either side.
Roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute substitutions announced before the match can shift odds significantly. Recent tournament results, scrim performance leaks, or team statements about preparation level often trigger repricing. Meta shifts in Overwatch patches or hero balance updates may favor one team's playstyle over the other. Betting syndicates or professional analysts publishing predictions can accelerate price movement. Live updates during earlier games in the group stage may reveal form trends or momentum that traders incorporate. Monitor team social media, esports news outlets, and platform activity for early signals of shifting conviction.
