The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/overwatch/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Resolution is determined by the final result of the OCS North America Stage 2 2026 Overwatch match between LuneX Gaming and Dallas Fuel originally scheduled for June 28, 2026. The market resolves based on which team wins the match.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates under distinct regulatory frameworks, user bases, and market structures. Kalshi focuses on binary outcomes like match winners, while Polymarket emphasizes derivatives and totals. Liquidity concentration differs between platforms—one may attract more esports specialists, the other broader traders. Settlement timing, fee structures, and available information at any given moment create temporary price gaps. These differences typically narrow as arbitrageurs exploit spreads, but divergence can persist if trader demographics or risk appetites diverge significantly.
Team roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements can shift odds significantly. Recent performance data, scrim results, and meta shifts in Overwatch patch notes influence trader conviction. Betting line movements from major sportsbooks often cascade into prediction markets as arbitrageurs react. Pre-match interviews, coach statements, or public team commentary may reveal strategic adjustments. Momentum from earlier stage matches and playoff implications also drive repricing as the event date approaches. Real-time in-game performance during the match itself creates final volatility before settlement.
